This is a SECOND. What is a second? A second is an item that doesn’t meet my normal quality standards for any reason. Reasons can include glazes that have crackled where they weren’t supposed to, bald spots in glaze (called crawling), maybe a chip in the mug anywhere noticeable. All seconds sale items are discounted but they are all safe to use! I don’t sell anything not food safe! Prices and discounts vary depending on the flaw.
This is a 16oz Banana Mug! The only flaw is that there is a slightly chipped area on the lip near the handle that I glazed over. To be clear, there is no chipping to the glaze. The mug was chipped before glazing and I glazed over that, so it is visible, but does not in any way affect the mug.
Size guide: While some variation can be expected with handmade items, the sizes generally are: 8oz mug is 3 inches tall, 3 inch diameter. 12oz mug is 3.5 inches tall, 3 inch diameter. 16oz mug is 4.5 inches tall 3.5 inch diameter.
Everything is dishwasher and microwave safe!
