What is a sample? A sample is a (usually) one of a kind item that I made but didn’t make it to full production status. A sample might be discounted or it might be full price, depending on design and why I didn’t choose to make it a full item. There are no flaws in sample pieces.
This lemons mug is a sample because I used underglaze instead of glaze for the lemons, and then glazed on top, and I don’t like the way it made the slices look. The lemons and slices are all glossy and the inside, lip, and handle are all glossy white glaze. This is a 12oz size mug.
Size guide: While some variation can be expected with handmade items, the sizes generally are: 8oz mug is 3 inches tall, 3 inch diameter. 12oz mug is 3.5 inches tall, 3 inch diameter. 16oz mug is 4.5 inches tall 3.5 inch diameter.
